Christmas Party 2021

When I think of the holidays, one of the first things to come to mind is gathering. Gathering with friends and family for events, parties, celebrations, church, meals, and the list goes on and on. So I thought, what better way to celebrate Christmas this year on the podcast than to have a PARTY?!

Welcome friends, to my virtual Christmas party on the podcast! So glad you are here!!

I am beyond excited to introduce you to 5 special guests who I had the honor of chatting with all about Christmas and the holidays: my 2 boys, Turner and Thatcher, and 3 of my good friends, Allison Carter, Laura Nielsen, and Stephanie Bagley.

First up, Turner and Thatcher joined me to talk all things holiday traditions. I love experiencing the magic of Christmas through the eyes of young kids and hearing about what things they care most about! Come take a listen to hear some of our family traditions and comment one of your favorite traditions for the holidays.

Next, Allison, from Allison Carter Celebrates, and I talked the best and worst when it comes to holiday movies. Are you a classic holiday movie watcher, like "It's a Wonderful Life" status, or do you like some of the newer Christmas movies on Netflix like "Noelle" or "Holidate?" Join our conversation to hear some of our favorites and our not-so-favorites.

Then Laura, from Lolo Home Kitchen, joined me on the podcast to drool over, I mean to chat about, the yummiest, tastiest, most delicious holiday treats. We shared some personal favorites, bringing on serious nostalgia as we discussed some much-loved recipes that have been passed down from our grandmothers.

Finally, my girl, Stephanie, from The Dream Makers Podcast, shared with me some of her family's traditions around the holidays and we got to talk about the true meaning of Christmas, our Savior, Jesus Christ. As wonderful as the parties, food, and presents are at Christmastime, I wanted to end this special podcast Christmas Party by focusing on the real reason for the season.

I hope you had a very merry Christmas and always remember the most important part of Christmas, our Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas, friends, and Happy New Year! Thanks for being here!
